The True Meaning of Christmas

With only 5 days left until the big day, people are panicking about whether they have enough food to feed the 500, hoping they got the right sized jumper for Granny, aimlessly walking around shops, wishing they had an extra £5 to spend on that gift set that you have always wanted to get for that special person.

But why panic? I spoke to a friend the other day and they told me that they aren't panicking, because as long as they have something for feed that friend that pops in for a cuppa and as long as you have a nice time, nothing else should matter. You have what you have and you shouldn't worry about whether your present is going to be good or not, because people shouldn't judge you by your presents. They should be glad to have you there.

Christmas should be about family and love, but through the years, shop advertisements and peoples perceptions have changed and we now think that Christmas is about presents and who got the most expensive thing.

People who have family are lucky and we should cherish that. Stop wanting and maybe, start giving this Christmas.

Stay happy,
Katie xx
