How To Make The Best Cup Of Tea

I think this is a very important post to write, as some people make tea wrong. For example, why would you put the tea bag in after you have poured the water into the mug. What is this world coming to?
(P.s. enjoy my amazing photography skills!)

Step 1 - Choose your favourite mug. It can be large or small, oddly shaped or traditional. I chose my favourite mug right now, which has a K on. It is from Tiger and it was £2. There was every letter there, so go and buy one whilst you can! I am going to get one for every letter of my name, I think!

Step 2 - Choose your tea bag. I went for a smoky lapsang, which reminds me of autumn and bonfires. Alternatively, you could go for a non caffeinated tea bag, such as redbush or peppermint, or an everyday teabag. Choose which ever one takes your fancy.

Step 3 - Put in any sugar, if you have it. I take one sugar because I am unhealthy and I can't help it.
Step 4 - Pour in your water. Make sure it is boiling, because a cold cup of tea is not nice at all!

Step 5 - Pour in milk, if you have it. I don't take milk in my tea, because I am seeing whether it helps me not to. I have a theory that I am lactose intolerant, and therefore I am trying to get used to tea without milk. To be honest, I now prefer it to tea with milk!

Step 6 - Choose you favourite snack to go with it. I chose a Belgian waffle, that I heat up in the toaster and put Cadbury's chocolate spread on. I love this as a breakfast snack or just when I am hungry! What snack will you have? I also love toffee waffles!

Step 7 - Sit down and do something you love. I like catching up on Pretty Little Liars on Netflix, but you could read, chat to your friends, listen to music or daydream!

Step 8 - Do this again and again whenever you get the chance!

I hope this helps those of you who don't know how to tea!

Stay happy,

How To Become A Morning Person

I am not a morning person, but because there is something called school, I have to be. If you have the same troubles as me, this might help. I have found this helpful because it wakes me up even when I don't want to!

Firstly, I always check my social media accounts when I wake up. The blue screen will make your mind active, meaning it will be harder to get back to sleep.

Secondly, don't press the sleep button on your alarm unless you know that you are awake and you are getting up. In some cases, it might even be helpful to put the alarm on the other side of your room so that you have to get up to turn it off.

Next, make a glass of water for yourself. You can make it easy and have plain tap water, or you can put your favourite summery, refreshing fruit in. My favourites are strawberry and watermelon, or orange and lemon.

Then, have a cup of tea! Caffeine wakes you up and gives you energy. If you are not a everyday tea person, try a different flavour. It may be green tea or a different type of caffienated tea, such as earl grey, lady grey, lapsang souchong or assam.
Alternatively, have coffee. Either normal coffee, or green coffee. I like green coffee a lot!

Have something to eat. This might be a piece of toast or a piece of fruit. A full english breakfast may taste good, but not everyday, because the fats will slow you down. I must admit, I do like a bit of bacon and sausage for breakfast every once in a while!

Get dressed and brush your hair. If you wear make up, put on as much or as little as you want! This will make you get up and do something, because you can't go back to bed now!

Finally, plan out your day. Not to the exact timings, but make a list, either in your head or on paper, of what you need to do and what you want to do that day. This helps me to manage my time, because I know I have to get stuff done.

I hope this helps for those who need it!
